On the Road Again!

Epic. That's the best word to describe this road trip. An Epic Support-Raising Road Trip. Three weeks, eighteen states, and thousands of miles. My good friends, Christina and Madsion, and I have set out on this quest. The quest is more than to just have fun and see lots of cool places. This is a quest to seek support from many friends and family that I know who live throughout the south and along the East Coast. I am stoked about the chance to share my vision with so many friends and family. I will also be speaking at a church in Tennessee. I'm hoping to also get the chance to speak at a church in Virgnia, though those details are still being worked out.

Partner Development is something different than I have ever done before. Sure, I've raised support for one-time trips, but it is so much different to be raising monthly support. I am focusing more on meeting with people than I am on just sending out letters. I am going to be calling people and sharing in many places. I will be traveling alot! I am realzling how much I cannot depend on my own strength or have confidence in myself to be able to do well at this. I also am thankful that God can bring in the support despite myself. I fumble and falter, but He can still get the message across.

Something else I have to remember when it comes to support raising is that I am not asking anyone to give me money; I am providing them an opportunity to give back to God from the resources that He has entrusted to them. That makes things a lot easier, as the focus isn't on me or on the money. Instead, it is on God and what He is doing and what He wants. It's all for Him, anyway. To God be the glory! I earnstly pray that He is glorified through this whole process of support development.

You can be praying for this trip! Pray that God will use me to bring Him glory. Pray that I would rely on His strength and His wisdom as I present this ministry. Pray that many will become partners with me in sharing the gospel. Pray that we have safety as we travel, would have good fellowship, and would remain healthy. Thank you so much!
